Our introductory diving course Discover Scuba Diving Cozumel is divided into an academic overview of basic knowledge and a shallow dive in which you will learn basic scuba skills.

Experienced instructors will safely teach you to dive in the natural and calm water, bursting with marine life.

You will learn to dive with colorful fish, see beautiful coral gardens, and get a taste of what you can experience when you dive in our marine park.

This program is designed for people who want to try scuba diving for the first time. No previous training or experience is needed.

Our course allows the individual to experience scuba diving under the direct supervision of a professional dive instructor without having to complete a full scuba certification course.

Almost anyone can enjoy this experience!

Discover Scuba Diving Cozumel!

You have two options to choose from based on your own comfort level and desire.

Intro Scuba Course on Beach: 

• 3 Hours of Instruction (4 persons per instructor)
• Full Gear
• 1 Dive
• Max Depth – 20 ft
• Hosted at Tikila Beach Club

Intro Scuba Course on Boat:

• 5 – 6 Hour Boat Trip including a full Lunch and refreshments on board
• 2 tank Dives in Marine Park shallow reefs – max depth 40 ft
• 4 Students per Instructor with an Assistant Instructor
• Teaching & Diving Aboard “La Nena¨ – Our 42 ft Shaded Boat
• Certified family and friends are welcome to tag along at the normal 2 tank rate (check our regular dive trips for more information)

What we need:

In order to have the proper gear, we will need a group list including the following:

• name
• age
• height
• weight
• shoe size

You only need to bring towels!

We accept reservations by email.  The deposit can be made using Paypal but we prefer Cash. Pesos or Dollars. Tips for crew members are not included.

Where we meet:

We operate our shore dives from Tikila Beach Club. If you’re interested in coming on board our boat “La Nena”, then we are docked at La Caleta marina. Taxi drivers are all familiar with these directions.

We normally start classes at 9 am. We can meet all the cruise ship schedules. Just be sure to let us know!

We will confirm our meeting time and place prior to your arrival by phone or email. If you are staying in the south hotel zone with an accessible pier, we may be able to pick you up.
