We’re Grateful For You!
In whatever part of the US, Canada, or the world you’re in, we hope that you’re staying safe and taking care of yourself and your loved ones during this challenging time.
Cozumel is Doing Well
First, we wanted to let you know that the island is doing well. The skies are still blue, the beaches are beautiful, and the ocean is warm & crystal-clear. Dolphins have been spotted and the occasional deer has been seen on the road to Punta Sur. The wildlife is taking over while the humans are staying indoors!
The people of the island are taking as many precautions as possible. Most businesses and shops will be closed until at least May 31st and everyone is under strict restrictions with a nightly curfew that starts at 7:00 pm.
Divers Helping the Crew
Second, we’ve received several inquiries from avid scuba divers like you, asking what they can do to support our crew and their families.
While this crisis has affected everyone’s way of life, it’s been especially hard on those who rely on a high number of dive trips in March April, and May to carry them through the year.
To help more directly, we’ve set up a fund where we are soliciting donations. All donations are distributed in FULL to our hardworking crew and their families.
We know this is a tough time for everyone, but if you have the means to contribute, we – and Javier, Lino, Fernando, Luis, and Cristina, their families, and everyone else who make your Cozumel dive trips so special – would surely appreciate your generosity.
